Brooklyn Park Rod & Gun Club

About

The history and purpose of Brooklyn Park Rod and Gun Club.

Brooklyn Park Rod and Gun Club was created in the late 1950s and officially established on March 15, 1965.

The club’s purpose is participation in the sports of hunting and fishing; the development of sportsmanlike conduct, character, and physical conduct through participation in, and association with, hunting and fishing in their best traditions; and to serve as a medium through which young and old may gather socially and for recreation.

Club Values

Sportsmanship comes first. Members are expected to conduct themselves with respect for the outdoors, fellow members, guests, and the traditions of hunting and fishing.

Stewardship matters. Club properties are shared resources, and members help maintain them through cleanups, repairs, conservation-minded use, and respectful care.

Community keeps the club useful. Young and old should find a welcoming place to gather socially, recreate, learn, and participate in club traditions.
